Caddo Magnet High School Shreveport, La (Caddo Parish) Contact CMHS95		Jennifer Phifer Strange Return to "Bios" Location: Shreveport, LA Email: jstrange@centenary.edu  BIO: Graduated from Centenary College and studied poetry at the University of Florida (where I once ran into Ashanti Allen in a Gainesville Blockbuster, if I remember the location correctly--weird), earning a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing. Then in 2001 I returned to Shreveport, married Micah Strange, and joined Centenary's English faculty. I'm still here, splitting my time between teaching and writing for the college president. Last summer, I walked 190 miles across England with three other women, taking Wainwright's Coast to Coast path.
