Click image for larger view Email: markim@bellsouth.net  Location: Monroe, LA  BIO: After graduating I attended Northeast Louisiana University (NLU, now known as the University of Louisiana at Monroe [ULM]) where I studied Nursing. In January of 1996 I surrendered my life to the Lord and accepted a call to the ministry. During my senior year in Nursing (Level IV) I changed my major and begin pursuing ministerial studies for The United Methodist Church. I'm married (Kimberly Y. Gilyard-Gaut; March 9, 2002) with two children (10 year-old daughter, Alexis, and 2 year-old son, Marcus DeWayne) and I'm serving my second year as Pastor of the Mt. Olive U.M.C. in Bastrop, Louisiana (north of Monroe). While working on my Master of Divinity degree at The Interdenominational Theological Center (Atlanta, GA) my wife shared that she always felt as if I should finish my Nursing education, and so after much prayer and consultation I put my graduate studies on hold and am now completing a B.S.N. at ULM (I'm graduating in May 2006!!!!!).
